Urban DG course page information.

The pages corresponding to the individual courses will contain a bit of information.

In the end it isn’t an official course so if you don’t like the exact layout or the par for each hole then change it.

Some courses may have 9 holes like golf while others may have one hole but many tee off points. Maybe only 4 holes or for starters one with 10 holes.

I will create a Map for each course with approximate tee and hole positions.

I will probably give a description for each hole some descriptions may include pictures.

I will try to make use of out of bounds and compulsory direction markers.

If you end up playing a round on one of my courses please leave a score and comments on the relevant page.

Good luck and thankyou.

What is this blog about?

Over the last 6 months my uncle, cousin and I have all fallen in love with playing disc golf.

We play at various courses in the Perth metro area we use an app to track our games. This app has a map of all the official disc golf courses and sometimes satelite maps of the course layout. Which is very helpful to a new player or even an old player going to a new course.

When I come across a park without a disc golf course I am always interested to see if an interesting layout can be added to the location.

With the covid virus I haven’t been going too far from home to throw a disc. I have recently found a park locally with a good collection of trees and a nice downward gradient in the middle of the park.

So I had decided to make myself an unofficial course map for the park, so my family members could play.

Then I thought maybe using this blog I could store scores, information about my course. Why stop there maybe i will find more interesting places to make urban disc golf courses.

I’m tempted to put some QR codes out there for people to find and draw them into giving it a whirl.

Let’s get the first course completed before worrying about the rest.

Each of the courses will get their own individual page.
